Snorkeling

Snorkeling can be experienced in 8 beaches on the island:

Paradise Beach

Maybe not the quietest place for snorkeling, but a nice choice if you want to combine snorkelling with partying. Also note that there is a water taxi stop here  that makes your arrival on the beach easier from the Chora!

Paraga Beach

From here, you can enjoy snorkelling while admiring Delos island on the horizon. A good option since it provides a vast of tavernas & restaurants, ideally after your snorkeling!

Elia Beach

This is the biggest beach on the island and the last stop of the water taxi! Maybe not recommended for families with children, since Elia is famous also for being a beach for naturists.

Frangias Beach

A lesser-known snorkelling beach, because it is a bit hard to reach through a gravelly road. For this reason, it is one of the most secluded and peaceful places to swim and discover the sea creatures.

Lia Beach

One of the most tranquil beaches of Mykonos. It is also ideal for water activities and its hip beach bar. Highly recommend for snorkelling, due to its crystal clear water and the calmness offered.

Kalafati Beach

Extremely recommended for families with kids that love water sports k& snorkellng! Windsurfing is also a must there, when there are winds at the southern coast of Mykonos. A short path gives you also access to a small and picturesque beach, called Agia Anna.

Agios Ioannis Beach

This beach offers a variety of underwater rocks, which are interesting for viewing. Plus you can enjoy an amazing sunset view after your snorkeling!

Psarou Beach

The most cosmopolitan beach of Mykonos, with high-class celebrities and mega yachts. It is very busy during the summer months, but snorkeling here is an amazing option, for those who enjoy green shades of water.
